    The Seminar

The seminar is an experience designed to safely immerse participants in a back-country environment and give them the skills for entering into the backcountry confidently. Participants will spend 4-days working from High Country Huts and wild camping while developing both their backcountry skills and medical responses.

The seminar aims to introduce participants to the challenges of working in a back-country environment and introduce strategies to manage conditions and injuries that can occur. These lessons will be delivered through lectures, case studies, and hands-on safety skill sessions.

The expedition will be facilitated by experienced clinicians with a passion for back-country environments and combines 15-20 hours of CPD including AST1 Avalanche Rescue Certification.

The seminar is perfect for the clinician looking to deepen their understanding of back-country medicine, whilst enjoying some of the most iconic landscapes in Australia
