    Our First Responder programs focus on teaching professional skills that are required to respond appropriately in specific industry environments. The courses draw on decades of emergency service, defence, academic instruction and expeditionary experience to teach first responders right! All First Responder Courses include nationally recognised First Aid Certificates at no extra cost and all First Responder Courses are run by experienced clinicians with extensive professional experience in each specific environment.

    This is a one day first aid course that emphasises marine relevant first-aid and introduces expedition medicine skills.

  • About First Responder

    Our First Responder courses are designed for organisations and community groups who are keen to develop their core clinical skills in their industry specific environments. The topics are drawn from emergency service, defence, academic instruction and expeditionary experience and provide real-world training in emergency response. As an added extra, every course also provides the necessary workplace first aid certifications that are underwritten by our partner RTO Survive. Each course is taught by an industry and clinical expert to ensure the relevance, recency and accuracy of the course topics is delivered.

     

     

  • Marine First Responder - 2020 participant

    This course easily outdid my expectation, and it was the most interesting and comprehensive marine first aid and marine first responder training I have been on to date. Very experienced instructor who simplified the complexity of providing medical care in a marine environment.

    Drop Zone First Responder - 2021 participant 

    People often laugh about first aid on a drop zone, but I found this course was extraordinarily helpful in learning how to manage a major trauma at our home drop zone. The instructor was an experienced paramedic and an experienced skydiver who understood the environment and gave us the confidence to manage a patient in the field. High recommend for any skydivers to attend this one!

    This course was brilliant and a must do for anyone wishing to or heading off on a boat. This will give you confidence you need to take care for all kinds of injuries / illnesses when you are more than a few hours or days from help. Couldn’t recommend this course more.
