The Seminar
The 2024 ocean medicine seminar is an experience designed to immerse participants in an offshore sailing environment whilst developing fundamentals skills in ocean medicine and marine environments.
Departing the Southport Yatch Club on the Gold Coast, you will spend two days aboard the vessel.
The seminar is perfect for the clinician looking to deepen their understanding of the ocean, remote medicine and sailing while enjoying some of the best conditions Australia has to offer.
You may participate as an experienced sailor looking for an adventure CPD event or as a complete novice dipping their toes in the world of ocean medicine for the first time.
The seminar provides up to 8 hours of CPD for nurses, paramedic, doctors and allied health care professionals.
Location
Located on the waterways of the sun-kissed entertainment playground that is the Gold Coast, your days will be spent watching the beautiful sandy beaches go past with ancient rainforests on the hills in the distance.

A deposit of $650 is required to secure your place. Prices are inclusive of GST.

Following your initial deposit your position will be confirmed and you will receive a Welcome & Information Pack.Balances are not due until 9 weeks prior to the seminar start date.
A full refund will be provided if this seminar is cancelled. Balances are refundable up to 9 weeks prior to the seminar start date minus the initial deposit. Please note that we are not responsible for bookings made in addition to this program and therefore please ensure to check the cancellation terms on your other travel arrangements (eg. flights and extra accommodation) when making your bookings.
